Lime Pictures’ in-house digital team have been awarded a Digiday Media Award for Best Use of Facebook Live for the Hollyoaks Slice of Summer campaign. The Digiday Media Awards Europe are the biggest digital marketing awards in Europe and recognise the companies working to modernise European media – through social media, new technologies, e-comms and online platforms.
The Hollyoaks a Slice of Summer brought to you by Dominos was a series of 6 live magazine-style shows. The campaign beat tough competition from; the 2017 MTV Europe Music Awards, Total Tekkers a campaign by Joe Media & Xbox, Wildfire: Ground Zero Journalism by 24sata and Life Hacks Live by CNBC International.
The award win also coincides with the team maintaining the no. 1 soap spot for video views and engagements on Facebook amongst the continuing drama community for one whole calendar year.
