Lime Pictures is delighted to announce a number of new roles within its non-scripted team under Head of Non-Scripted Sarah Tyekiff. Lime will strengthen its senior creative team with the appointment of
Rebecca Kenny Smith as Creative Director of current programming, ITV Studios’ executive producer Kevin O’Brien and former TOWIE executive producer Andrew Jackman.
Rebecca Kenny Smith who earlier this year was the executive producer of Lime’s critically acclaimed True Love or True Lies giving MTV it’s highest week of share to date has been promoted to Creative Director of current programming which includes the BAFTA award-winning The Only Way is Essex (going into production of its 24th series in early 2019) as well as MTV’s global hit Geordie Shore (now in production of its 19th series).
Kevin O’Brien (I’m a Celebrity) and Andrew Jackman (Big Brother) join the business in the New Year as development executives who are expected to executive produce new and re-commissions.
Lime’s ratings hit Celebs Go Dating returns to E4 in early 2019 and continues to be overseen by Lime staff executive producer Colin Whitaker who is joined by former TOWIE executive producer Luke McFarlane (EP series 18 – 22). Nazleen Karim joins Cheryl Price as executive producer for the forthcoming series of The Only Way is Essex and after a hugely successful Series 18 Manus Wynne and Rebecca McLaughlin continue to executive produce Geordie Shore.

Rebecca most recently executive produced Lime’s critically acclaimed dating game show True Love or True Lies for MTV. Prior to working with Lime Rebecca executive produced Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother for Channel 5 from 2016 to 2018 as well as series editing both series in 2015 and 2016 for Endemol Shine. Her vast reality and entertainment experience saw her overseeing international formats for Shine including Master Chef, the Island and the Biggest Loser. Her UK credits also include; the Island with Bear Grylls Series 2 (C4), the Big Allotment Challenge (BBC2), the Apprentice and Island Hospital (ITV).
O’Brien has just finished as executive producer for this series of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here which is the show’s most watched in 18 series. The series launch consolidated at 13.7m viewers which is the show’s highest launch episode to date. Prior to that he executive produced the live final of Love Island as well as the live sister show Love Island: Aftersun with responsibility for the expansion of the brand including a new podcast, official book, a live event at the ExCel and various commercial activities. With proven experience in Entertainment, Game Shows and Reality O’Brien’s versatility saw him develop and win important commissions for ITV Studios including Survival of the Fittest (ITV2) and Dress to Impress (ITV2). He also redeveloped Dancing on Ice (ITV) for its successful return and he won a gameshow pilot for BBC with his own idea The Revengers as well as Love Island spin-off Chris & Olivia: Cracking’ On (ITVBe) a show he also went on to executive produce as well as Chris & Kem: Straight Outta Love Island (ITV2).
Jackman previously executive produced The Only Way is Essex for Lime Pictures in 2014 and 2015. Since then his executive producer credits have included; Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother (C5), the Royal World (MTV) and Celebrity Haunted Mansion (UKTV for W) as well as development for Boomerang and Talkback. Prior to TOWIE, Jackman series edited the BAFTA award-winning series 4 and later 5, 6 & 7 of Made in Chelsea (E4) for Monkey Kingdom. His extensive experience in reality, factual entertainment and features also extends senior credits across; Location, Location, Location, Kirsty and Phil’s Property Guide, Relocation, Relocation, Relocation, Celebrity Scissorhands and Richard and Judy. Jackman was named a Broadcast Hot Shot in 2008.
