Hollyoaks Wins 4 British Soap Awards

Saturday 2nd June 2018 saw the 20th annual British Soap Awards and for the first time the award ceremony transmitted live. Hollyoaks was nominated in an all categories with an incredible 14 nominations and taking home four trophies on the night including; Best On-Screen Partnership for Theo Graham and Malique Dwyer-Thompson who play loveable twins Prince and Hunter McQueen.

The incredibly important three Mother’s, three daughters self harm episode won best single episode and the self harm storyline won best storyline. Finally Ross Adams won best Male dramatic performance for his portrayal of Scott during the Male depression and suicide storyline. The success at the British Soap Awards follows a win for Hollyoaks for Best Continuing Drama at the 2018 Broadcast Awards and a BAFTA nomination, also for Best Continuing Drama.
