Rocket's Island

Rocket’s Island was an original action packed, whirlwind of a show, marrying heartfelt dramatic stories with adventure and mystery for CBBC.

This magical drama followed the Boulsworth family, who lived at and ran Knot Farm, but most importantly fostered a number of children there.  The series was shot in the heart of picturesque North Wales, and captured the most stunning, sweeping shots of every hill, cove, cave and cliff used.  The scope and scale of the pictures used highlighted Rocket’s Island’s unique visual style and ambition.

A quality drama with the highest of production values, Rocket’s Island was nominated for Best Drama Series at the 2014 Children’s BAFTAs.
