Who We Are

Lime Pictures is one of the UK’s largest independent television and digital media producers.  The company, originally known as Mersey Television was founded by Phil Redmond in 1982 and has since been responsible for some of the most iconic shows on British television.

The company’s metamorphism into Lime Pictures began following acquisition by All3Media in 2005 which brought with it a new internal management structure.  Managing Director Sean Marley, Creative Director Tony Wood and Director of Digital Media, Lee Hardman are now the driving force behind the company’s continued expansion and movement into new markets.

Predominantly focused on creating engaging content for the lucrative 16-35 market, Lime Pictures have established themselves as market leaders in the arena with long running shows including Brookside, Hollyoaks and Grange Hill. Ambitious and innovative, the company has successfully implemented its bold plans to enter new markets with successful forays into factual, children’s peak time drama and multi platform content.

With a raft of successful programmes across all major UK networks, Lime Pictures is also the first UK producer to produce content for Nickelodeon US.
